Habitat for Humanity
June 2011
Daytona Homes partnered with Habitat for Humanity during Habitat Day in the Capital Region, to provide a deserving family with a new place to call home. On June 15, 2011 during a heart-warming dedication ceremony, Teresa and her 3 year old daughter Hailee received the keys to their new home in St. Albert.
“This is an incredible day for Hailee and me,” said Teresa. “We’re so thankful to everyone who has helped make today a reality. I thought home ownership was a dream and out of reach, but today we’ve been able to catch that dream.”

Lethbridge 3rd Annual Backpack Program for Kids
October 1, 2010
This year, the 3rd Annual Daytona Homes Backpack Program raised $22,000 in cash and supply donations! This exceeds the 2009 results by $5,000. Because we surpassed our goal of $20,000, four of Daytona's very own went bald for the cause.
Kindergarten to grade three students in both Public and Separate school systems were the recipients of the supply filled backpacks. It is thrilling to see the program grow year by year, and rewarding to know so many children are smiling because of all of you. Your contributions have an enormous impact on children's' lives, and on behalf of the Daytona Team, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude for your generosity.
The Daytona team eagerly awaits next year's program and will raise the bar even higher to help many more children.

Daytona Homes (Lethbridge) Ltd. is very proud to announce that the 2009 Daytona Homes Backpack Program raised $17,000 in cash and supplies. Over 400 backpacks were stuffed with school supplies for kindergarten to grade three school children in our community.
In light of the economic downturn we were thrilled to exceed our total from last year by over $4,000. Thank you to everyone for your donations. This outstanding total would not have been if not for you! Your donations will have an enormous positive impact on a child.
Thank you from everyone on "The Daytona Team!!!"
To The Daytona Team,
I am a teacher and counselor at a school that received your donated backpacks. Through your donations we were able to distribute backpacks to 10 children. If I could share with you the image I have of their faces when I gave them a bag, you would be smiling all year! It was very special! Thank you so very much for your generous gift. Your team definitely MADE A DIFFERENCE.
Sincerely,
G.S. Lakie Middle School

It is with our deepest appreciation that I write to say thank you on behalf of our children. Thank you for your support as you continue to throw an amazing party - BBQ & Silent Auction - year after year on our behalf. Your office staff and contractors are remarkable as they continue to support us so graciously and willingly through their generous donations of time and purchase of auction items.
This year the proceeds of the Silent Auction/BBQ, which you raised on our behalf, will go towards internal and external education within our society and the greater Edmonton community. The monies will go towards funding our annual Teachers' Conference, and our website, resource library and ongoing awareness campaign.
Again, we thank you for all your generous contributions as we work together to make a difference for the sake of people with Down Syndrome.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Joy Lonergan
